NOVA Medical School has opened the second call for SUCCESS@NOVA Scholarships, exclusively for first-year students of the Integrated Master's Degree in Medicine and the Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition Sciences. There are still 26 scholarships available, each worth €697, awarded for one academic year.
These scholarships are part of the SUCCESS@NOVA project — Strategies to Underpin College Course Engagement and Student Success, funded by the Recovery and Resilience Plan (PRR), and aim to reduce the dropout rate and promote academic success among first-year students in situations of greater socioeconomic vulnerability.
Students enrolled for the first time in the 1st year of the aforementioned courses, who reside in Portugal or have a valid residence permit, and who have a per capita household income equal to or less than €20,900, are eligible to apply.
The selection process will be carried out in ascending order of family income, until the available amount is exhausted, with tiebreaker criteria applied if necessary.
The deadline for submitting applications is February 27, 2026, at 11:59 p.m., and the results will be announced on March 4, 2026.
