I have a bachelor’s in Biomedical Sciences and a master’s in Biochemistry for Health. My PhD project involves the usage of 3D retinal organoids either control or with Diabetic retinopathy and evaluate the anti-inflammatory / neuroprotective effects of the human polyphenol metabolites, compounds found in fruits and vegetables. This model still requires some improvements, including for example the potential of it secreted EVs.
Fun Fact: I can not live without music and in my free time I enjoy going out to eat at new places. I consider myself a real foodie.
