Covid-19: only vaccinated pregnant women transfer protective antibodies to the fetus

"A team of Portuguese scientists from NOVA Medical School has concluded that a pregnant woman's immune system has a different immune response to SARS-CoV-2 infection and to vaccination.

Only vaccinated pregnant women transfer protective antibodies to the fetus.
Pregnant women infected with SARS-CoV-2 do not transfer protective antibodies against infection to the fetus or, those who do, do so in small quantities - this is the main conclusion of a study published this month in the scientific journal JCI Insight by Helena Soares' team, from the Center for Chronic Disease Studies (Cedoc) at the New University of Lisbon. This is not the case for vaccinated pregnant women, who manage to pass on neutralizing antibodies to their children."
