After 16 years working on the bench and a PhD degree, Ana Sofia Almeida decided to change careers and embarked on science management. She discovered that her passion is project management and is now dedicated to guarantee that FCM|NMS-UNL funding is executed in accordance with the grant proposal and signed agreement, working with the researchers responsible for the projects in order to ensure compliance with the expectations of funding agencies.
Fun Fact: Until 2016 I was a neuroscientist who studied stem cells in brain
