Otilia has a Master´s in Medicines Tecnhology a a PhD in Pharmacy. She had her first contact with membrane trafficking during her first postdoc in the lab of Sergio Grisntein in Toronto. Her passion is to understand the lysosome biology in atherosclerosis.
Fun Fact: She used to be a firefighter and a rescuer during summer in Serra da Estrela
