Quélia Ribeiro

Research Fellow, NOVA Medical School

I hold a BSc in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Aveiro and a MSc in Biomedical Research from the University of Coimbra. During my master's thesis, I engineered extracellular vesicles to induce their targeting and accumulation in injured tissues. Currently, I am exploring the role of EVs in atherosclerosis aiming to impact their translational potential.

Fun Fact: I am a futsal player at Sporting Clube de Portugal. I am also a music lover. If you hear 80's-00's songs playing at the cell culture room probably it will be my fault.
