Austėja Kvedaraitė

Erasmus visiting Student, NOVA Medical School

I have bachelor’s in biophysics from Vilnius University, Life Sciences Center. During my bachelor's years, I focused on the encapsulation of curcumin into liposomes and its localization in cancer cells, but now as I am visiting student at NOVA Medical School, I have become cellular world “logistician” as I got involved in the field of extracellular vesicle research.

Fun Fact: I am from Lithuania, and I have been playing our national instrument, birbynė, for almost half of my life. Moreover, I enjoy adding a sprinkle of humor into presentations to make the audience smile.
