NOVA Medical School hosts meeting on regulatory compliance for medical devices

"Marketing your Medical Device: A comprehensive journey through regulatory compliance and clinical evaluation", organized by the Pedro Nunes Institute (IPN), will take place on June 28 in the Manuel Machado Macedo Auditorium at NOVA Medical School and will be conducted in English. This event is aimed at all those seeking to deepen their knowledge of regulatory compliance and clinical evaluation of medical devices and in vitro diagnostics.

The event will feature a number of expert speakers in the field, including Sandra Balseiro and Celeste Oliveira from IPN, Lúcia Domingues from NOVA-CRU, Agnese Mengoli, Francesca Bevilacqua and Carlo Gherardi from TÜV SÜD - TÜV Italia, among others.

The event's agenda includes sessions on the steps to CE marking, pre-clinical testing, clinical and performance evaluation, clinical research, the Notified Body submission process, success stories, among other relevant topics for professionals in the medical devices industry.

The first registration phase runs until June 7 and will cost €30 per ticket, after which it will be €50.  However, the Pedro Nunes Institute is offering a 100% discount on the ticket price for startups and SMEs that meet the eligibility criteria and will be covered by the Digital Innovation Hub (DIH).
