NMS is hosting the meeting of the International Society of Arterial Chemoreceptors next Jun 27-Jun 30, 2022
The present meeting is dedicated to "(Mal) adaptive responses of peripheral chemoreceptors: O2 dependent and independent mechanisms” and brings together worldwide scientists dedicated to cardiometabolic diseases and cancer related to oxygen sensing or activation of peripheral chemoreceptors.
The program also includes specific clinical sleep apnea and neonatal control of breathing aspects.
The meeting is organized in a hybrid format and will allow poster presentations remotely and oral presentations in person. All the invited speakers will be in Lisbon. We strongly encourage junior participation, with very attractive registration fees and scientific awards.
After a long period of scarce opportunities of face-to-face scientific benchmarking and networking this is a particularly interesting opportunity for the Portuguese scientific community.
