Isabel Fernandes, MD, Ph.D., é investigadora clínica em oncologia e saúde. É coordenadora de oncologia nos hospitais CUF Descobertas, CUF Santarém e CUF Torres Vedras. Trabalha como assistente do diretor do Programa Nacional de Doenças Oncológicas, é consultora da Comissão de Ética para Investigação Clínica (CEIC) e é membro fundador do Grupo Português de Sarcomas (GPES). É membro da Sociedade Europeia de Oncologia (ESMO) e da Sociedade Portuguesa de Oncologia (SPO). Atualmente, é professora assistente convidada de Oncologia Médica e Oncobiologia na NOVA Medical School. Isabel Fernandes formou-se com distinção no ISCTE-Instituto Universitário de Lisboa, Portugal, com um doutoramento em Gestão Estratégica e Empreendedorismo.
