The Erasmus+ Programme provides mobility opportunities for academic/administrative staff from other Universities, allowing them to carry out a short mobility period of training at NOVA Medical School (NMS).

With over 40 years of history, NMS is a School with tradition but open to modern times, committed to providing excellent education in Medical studies. In 2017, and for the second consecutive year, NMS reached the 1st position in the ranking of admissions to Higher Education in Medicine, in the Lisbon Area. Furthermore, it was the first option for 75% of candidates.
NMS is associated with several health units, allowing a variety of teaching environments and a more comprehensive knowledge of hospital reality and primary health care. It was recently awarded with the Ministry of Health Gold Medal for Distinguished Services.
Located in Lisbon, the capital of Portugal and Europe’s safest city, the faculty's main services are in the city center, next to charming historic monuments and benefiting from a great transport network.

- Option 2 - Spontaneous application
a) If you are a member of the teaching staff at your home university, please follow this procedure:
- Contact the Mobility Office by email (mobilidade-in@nms.unl.pt)
- Include your CV
- Include the Erasmus+ Mobility Agreement proposal with a minimum duration of 2 days (as detailed as possible)
Your proposal will be analysed by our Mobility Programmes Coordinator and the responsible person of the department of your interest.
b) If you are part of the technical/administrative/research staff (non-teaching), please contact the Human Resources department of NOVA Medical School with your proposal (rh@nms.unl.pt - Attn: Dr. Susana Pereira, Head of Human Resources).
Please note that the acceptance of your mobility depends on many factors, such as the mobility plan and its relevance, the time period proposed and the availability of the responsible persons and relevant departments.
