Diego Borges, former member of the MEDIR lab, led by Professor Paula Macedo, won an award for research developed at CEDOC-NMS.
The 2022 Metabolism Award for Junior Investigators was attributed to the publication “Loss of postprandial insulin clearance control by Insulin-degrading enzyme drives dysmetabolism traits". The 1500 dollar award was selected by a panel of experts from all eligible entries published in the Metabolism journal in 2021
