Scientific Thinking in Biomedicine
In this course, you will understand and apply the scientific method in biomedical sciences, learn to interpret results accurately, recognize the importance of reproducibility and essential controls, and explore how key issues in the field have been historically resolved through scientific research.

Scientific Communication in Biomedicine
At the end of this course, you should be able to communicate scientific ideas and conclusions clearly and effectively, produce scientific articles in English using terminology and language appropriate to biomedicine, and prepare presentations and posters of experimental results in an attractive and professional manner.

It will address strategies for developing successful research projects, including formulating questions and hypotheses, constructing compelling narratives to attract funding, managing projects and budgets, and submitting proposals with an understanding of the evaluation criteria of funding agencies.

You will develop skills to critically analyze scientific literature in the field of health sciences, design and present original research projects with a detailed experimental approach, timeline, and milestones, and constructively evaluate colleagues' projects as a peer reviewer.
