Raquel Peres, a student on the Master's Degree in Biomedical Research at NOVA Medical School, has been awarded the Gulbenkian New Talent Scholarship in Biology.
This scholarship, promoted by the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, aims to detect and support the talent of exceptional students and encourage them to begin research in the areas of basic science: biology, physics, mathematics and chemistry, as well as in any area of the humanities, arts and social sciences.
The prize, which can reach €3,500, includes an immersive talent enrichment program and offers the opportunity to participate in scientific retreats that combine scientific, social and cultural activities, as well as the support of tutors and scientific committees, promoting a broad training that extends beyond the financial value.
NOVA Medical School congratulates the student on being awarded this scholarship and celebrates the distinction as a recognition of her talent and potential in the field of biology. Congratulations!
