Professor Helena Canhão, Dean of NOVA Medical School, was chosen to join the Mediterranean Science Team, which brings together eleven female scientists from ten countries in the Mediterranean basin. The prize will be awarded, in Istanbul, during MEDNIGHT, within the framework of the “Mediterranean Researchers' Night”, a scientific popularization and democratization project promoted by the European Women Rectors Association (EWORA) and funded by the European Commission in scope of Marie Curie actions.
Due to the earthquake in Turkey, the MEDNIGHT Gala will not take place on 9 February 2023. It is postponed to another date to be announced.
