The Casa Hermes Foundation and NOVA Medical School formalised a collaboration protocol aimed at joining forces in scientific, educational, historical and cultural initiatives. This partnership aims to promote projects in areas of common interest and create synergies within the scope of their respective competences, namely in the areas of health education and the knowledge and sharing of the History of Medicine, developing actions with the potential to create value in the community.
Among the initiatives planned are the creation of a book of nutritionally appropriate recipes to be developed jointly and made available at Skope - Museum of Medicine and Health, a project of the Casa Hermes Foundation that will be inaugurated in October, and at NOVA Medical School's innovative Kitchen Lab, a food research laboratory within a medical school, where science is brought to the table. In addition, the partnership will promote awareness-raising and training activities in the Museum's health education space, an area dedicated to health literacy and raising awareness of the importance of healthy lifestyles.
The collaboration will also make it possible to publicise and promote the Casa Hermes Foundation and Skope, creating a bridge between the history of medicine and the future of medical science. Together, the two institutions combine their past legacy, present commitment to excellence and innovation and a clear vision for the future: to transform the way we understand and promote health for the benefit of the community.
