Prof. Diogo Pais takes over as Vice-President of TEPARG at the group's first meeting in Portugal

On March 1st, NOVA Medical School hosted the 20th annual meeting of the Trans-European Pedagogic Anatomical Research Group (TEPARG), which took place for the first time in Portugal, in the Professor Manuel Machado Macedo Auditorium.

The event was attended by European experts in the field of anatomical education and its central theme was “Diversity in Anatomical Education”, promoting debates on innovation and challenges in anatomy teaching.

During the meeting, Professor Diogo Pais, Full Professor at NOVA Medical School, officially took office as Vice-Chairman of the TEPARG Board, a position to which he was elected in March 2024 in Barcelona.

It was also decided that, in 2026, NOVA Medical School will once again host the annual meeting, this time with the theme “Artificial Intelligence in Anatomical Education”, reinforcing the institution's commitment to advancing pedagogy in the field of health.
