NOVA Medical School once again participated in the Science and Technology Week, with the aim of promoting our Research among younger audiences.
The Science and Technology Week is a Ciência Viva initiative that takes place annually on the week of November 24, World Science Day, with the aim of bringing new audiences closer to research carried out in Portugal.
NMS Research, designation for Research at NOVA Medical School, organized two days of activities for different target audiences, always with the aim of disseminating to young audiences the science we do, from fundamental to clinical, including translational. On the 24th of November we received high-school students for visits to laboratories and a science quiz and on the 25th of November we hosted students already in Higher Education who, in addition to the visits, also attended our weekly scientific seminars.
The visits were organized by the NMS PhD Student Committee, with support from NMS Science Communication.
We look forward to 2023 for another successful year in disseminating our Research to other audiences and bringing science closer to those who often do not have as much access to it as we hoped.
