Several researchers from NMS Research were present at the Universidade NOVA day dedicated to science and its challenges.
The 5th edition of NOVA Science Day took place on the 15th of December, at the Rectory of Universidade NOVA de Lisboa, and brought together professors and researchers with the purpose of discussing the topic of leadership in science.
Several researchers from NOVA Medical School were present at this scientific promotion event and participated in round tables and lectures. This was the case with Principal Investigator António Jacinto, thematic line coordinator at LS4Future Associate Laboratory, in a panel that discussed various forms of international funding, and also with the Director of NOVA Medical School, Helena Canhão, who addressed the strategy of the REAL Associate Laboratory, dedicated to health promotion throughout life, of which she is coordinator.
The Vice-Rector of Universidade NOVA for Research, Isabel Rocha, presented the evaluation of research in the various organic units of NOVA, after the welcome given by Rector João Sàágua. The closing speech was led by Elvira Fortunato, Minister of Science, Technology and Higher Education, who was present at the genesis of NOVA Science Day as former Vice-Rector of NOVA.
