Professor Professor Auxiliar Convidado

Invited Assistant Professor at the NOVA Medical School, Universidade NOVA de Lisboa, and Researcher at the Comprehensive Health Research Center (CHRC). Senior Engineer and Specialist in Food Engineering, by the Portuguese Engineers Association.

Responsible for teaching several units in the Bachelor’s Degree in Nutrition Sciences, the Master's Degree in Human Nutrition and Metabolism, and the PhD Program in Health and Well-Being Sciences and Technologies.

Research focuses on the production and synthesis of scientific evidence regarding the relationship between lifestyle and health. Expert in the application of advanced clinical research methods, including clinical trials and systematic reviews with meta-analysis.
