NOVA Medical School joins webinar on the role of artificial intelligence in ultrasound diagnostics

The TrainR4U Webinar: "Next-Gen Ultrasound - The Role of AI", an online event dedicated to exploring the role of artificial intelligence (AI) in ultrasound diagnostics, will take place on June 5 at 6:30 pm.

Artificial intelligence has played a crucial role in optimizing these diagnoses by speeding up image analysis, reducing diagnostic errors and optimizing workflows in the medical imaging environment.

This initiative will feature the expertise of radiologist and researcher at the CHRC – Comprehensive Health Research Centre at NOVA Medical School - Faculdade de Ciências Médicas, João Abrantes.

The session will include an introductory overview of AI applications in radiology, a presentation on AI solutions for breast and thyroid cancer diagnosis by Koios Medical, and a Q&A with the experts.
