Portugal's choice to organize the Symposium was announced in Cape Town, South Africa, during this year's event and represents the international scientific community's recognition of the work our country has been doing in the field of Morphological Sciences.

The XXIX International Symposium on Morphological Sciences, to be held in July 2025 in Lisbon, is promoted by the Portuguese Anatomical Society and the International Committee of Symposia on Morphological Sciences.

The International Symposium on Morphological Sciences is an event organized every two years that brings together specialists and professionals in the field to discuss advances and research in anatomy and other morphological sciences. With more than 50 years of history, this meeting is an unmissable opportunity for the exchange of knowledge and global collaboration.
