On May 16, NOVA Medical School hosted a group of representatives from various European universities to take part in a debate on "Internationalisation and Policies for Staff Development".
The meeting was attended by NOVA Medical School's Deputy Dean and Chairman of the Pedagogical Council, Nuno Neuparth, and the Coordinator of Mobility Programmes, Paulo Paixão, who spoke about the school's internationalisation policies.
The first block of activities included a round table, centred on "promoting cross-departmental collaboration", moderated by Professor Nuno Neuparth.
Participants also learned about opportunities to expand their professional development, as well as hearing about the experiences of NOVA Medical School staff in the field of internationalisation.
This event was part of International Staff Week 2024, which took place between 13 and 17 May, under the theme "Internationalisation and Talent Policy", and where 30 staff representatives from various European universities visited NOVA University Lisbon's Organic Units and discussed various topics.
