Cláudia Guimas Almeida

Claudia has a degree in Biochemistry, a master and a PhD in Neurosciences. She first heard about exosomes from Graça Raposo at the Curie Institute where Claudia did her postdoctoral studies. Her research interests are identifying causal molecular and cellular mechanisms of aging and Alzheimer's disease.

 

Fun fact: I love travelling, always try to have plans for the next vacation, photography, that helps me notice the beautiful things around me that make me happy, and knitting, that helps me relax.
