I have a master's degree in Biomedical Research from the University of Coimbra, and I am currently working as a research fellow in the "Lysosomes and Disease Lab" group. I joined the group with the aim of determining the role of extracellular vesicles (EVs) released by cells with lysosomal dysfunction in the context of atherosclerosis. In addition, we are interested in loading specific compounds into EVs and determining their therapeutic potential.
