Starting on March 15, NOVA Medical School will be holding several “Local Mediterranean Flavors - from the meadow to the plate: with soul, tradition and health” workshops in various markets in the Lisbon region.
The initiative is part of the AML Alimenta project, developed by A2S, ADREPES, Área Metropolitana de Lisboa and CCDR-LVT, as part of the National Plan for Balanced and Sustainable Food (PNAES). The aim is to enhance Mediterranean cuisine, encouraging a balanced and sustainable diet based on local, fresh and seasonal ingredients.
The workshops, led by NOVA Medical School nutritionists Margarida Mira Silva and Alexandre Rodrigues, will teach how to transform simple products into nutritious and tasty dishes, respecting tradition and seasonality.
Participation is free, but subject to registration, which can be done via this link.
