NOVA Medical School hosts “Nutrition 4.00 All” symposium on nutrition and Chronic Kidney Disease

NOVA Medical School, in partnership with Diaverum Portugal, is organizing the “Nutrition 4.00 All” symposium on May 15 at 9:30 a.m. in the Sala dos Atos.

This event is aimed at institutional partners and health professionals from NOVA Medical School and Diaverum, and brings together experts in the areas of nutrition and health to discuss key issues related to Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) and its impact on health and nutritional risk.

Throughout the day, the program includes:

  • Discussions on the challenges of nutrition in CKD patients;
  • The role of nutritional literacy in adherence to diet plans;
  • Nutritional support in institutionalized settings.

The symposium will feature round tables with professionals in the field, representatives of associations and invited experts, promoting debate and the sharing of perspectives.

The event also includes the presentation of the MedCook Challenge book and the award ceremony for the 2025 edition.
