NOVA Medical School once again took part in an edition of the Arroios Health Fair, held by the Arroios Parish Council, from April 8 to 19, in various locations in the parish, with the various activities open to the public to promote health education and well-being in the community.
Among the activities carried out by NOVA Medical School were a workshop dedicated to the Mediterranean Diet, held in the school's Kitchen Lab, the activity "De pequenino se torce o pepino", which raised awareness of issues related to public health, namely environmental sustainability and a yoga class promoting physical activity.
There were also activities of a more scientific nature, with topics related to the research carried out at the faculty, cardiovascular screenings for the population, visits to the laboratories and the Noble Spaces of NOVA Medical School.
These activities were only possible thanks to the commitment and dedication of the professors, researchers, students and staff of NOVA Medical School, together with the Arroios Parish Council.
