Students from NOVA Medical School's Degree in Nutrition Sciences visited an oyster nursery in Exporsado, Setúbal, to learn directly from the producers about the genuine cultivation of this species in the region.
The initiative, part of the “Primary Food Production” curricular unit, allowed the students to get to know the nursery's infrastructure and operations and to taste the oysters in the Sado estuary, in a practical and educational experience about food production.
