With a degree in Biology and a postgraduate degree in Conservation Biology, both from the University of Évora, she was an intern for 6 months at the Doñana
Biological Station through the Erasmus + program. Integrated into the infrastructures team, she manages the Drosophila melanogaster Unit, where she supports research developed at NOVA Medical School. Has an experience of more than 6 years working with this type of animal model.
