Global Clinical Scholars Research Training

 

 

Applications for the Harvard Medical School's Global Clinical Scholars Research Training on-year certificate program are open.

The program will begin on October 15, 2024, and run through October 18, 2025 and features three required in-person workshops over the year in Lisbon (NOVA Medical School), Portugal, for the first two experiences, and then all students will travel to Boston for the final workshop and graduation ceremony.

This program is designed for clinicians and clinician-scientists around the world seeking advanced training in the clinical research process. The curriculum will enhance student’s ability at every stage, and will increase skills in biostatistics, epidemiology, data analysis, grant proposal writing, and clinical leadership. Between in-person workshops, students will spend 7-10 hours per week on coursework, pre-recorded, and live online lectures, and capstone project work.

  • Tuition fee | 15,900$ (Harvard Medical School provides a 25% tuition reduction to enrolled participants affiliated with the eight medical schools in Portugal)

  • Workshops at NOVA Medical School:
    November 4-7, 2024
    April 7-10, 2025 
  • The remaining workshops take place in Boston between October 14-18, 2024 and March 31-April 3, 2025
