"D2D - Data2Decide@NMS", presented by NOVA Medical School, was awarded the Qudgest Prize at the 2nd edition of the ADN Awards - Acting Differently, which took place at NOVA University Lisbon and aims to identify, encourage, disseminate and leverage the sharing of innovative management practices within the institution.
The NOVA Medical School project, developed by Catarina Valente, Liliana Varela, Paulo Penetra, Jéssica Vaz and Fábio André, depicts a new data-based decision support system.
The other award-winning projects were the Musem of the Senses: "Inclkusion and Accessibility in the Communication of Science and the Health Heritage of the IHMT", in the category of new services and part of the sustainability area, and the "NOVA FCT - DRH: Embracing People" project, an initiative for the integration, development and training of human capital. Two honorable mentions were also awarded.
A total of 27 applications were submitted, from all 11 entities that make up NOVA.
The jury for this year's ADN Award was made up of the President of INA, Luísa Neto; the Administrator of the University of Aveiro, Mário Pelaio; Jorge Pereira, Director of Santander Universidades; João Paulo Carvalho, Senior Partner at Quidgest; Ricardo Oliveira, responsible for planning and quality at Digitalis; and the Administrator of NOVA, Ana Rita Marante.
