NOVA Medical School's Graduation Ceremony took place on November 30th at the NOVA Rectory Auditorium.
At this ceremony, the Diplomas were handed out to the students who had completed the Integrated Master's Degree in Medicine (2017-2023), the Bachelor's Degree in Nutritional Sciences (2019-2023) and the various Master's Degrees at the School. Inês Neto Moreira and Carolina Branco were also presented with the awards for Best Student in the Degree in Nutritional Sciences and Best Student in the Integrated Master's Degree in Medicine, respectively.
In addition to the presence of the Rector of NOVA University, Professor João Sàágua, the ceremony was attended by distinguished personalities linked to health in our country, namely the Director-General of Health, Dr. Rita Sá Machado, who is also a student at NOVA Medical School, and the President of the Portuguese Medical Association, Dr. Carlos Cortes, who gave inspiring speeches to the new doctors and nutritionists at NMS.
To round off this important event, all those present enjoyed a musical performance by 5th year medical student Diana Vendeiro, beautifully accompanied by professor, doctor and musician Themudo Barata and guitarist Carlos Fonseca.
