Volunteers are being recruited to participate in a study aimed at validating a food questionnaire and, at the same time, identifying potential stool donors.
The study is guided by Claudia Marques, professor and researcher at NOVA Medical School and co-founder of the spin-off YourBiome.
This study has been approved by the Ethics Committee of NOVA Medical School.
WHAT CAN I EXPECT WHEN PARTICIPATING IN THIS STUDY AS A VOLUNTEER?
Participation in this study will involve completing a food questionnaire, a blood sample collection, and a stool sample collection for intestinal microbiota analysis. In addition, participants can expect a free body composition evaluation.
AM I ELIGIBLE?
Participants must be between 18 and 35 years of age and have a body mass index (BMI) between 18.5 – 24.9 kg/m². Participants must reside in the Greater Lisbon area and be able to travel to NOVA Medical School (Campo Mártires da Pátria, 130 1169-056 Lisboa) where the evaluation will take place.
