This semester, NOVA Medical School launched Medical Advances Specifics, a course tailored for students without a health sciences background.
Led by Professor Ana Rodrigues, it explored the full health innovation pathway—from identifying clinical needs to implementing real-world solutions—focusing on chronic non-communicable diseases like cancer, cardiovascular, and musculoskeletal conditions.
The course is part of the EU-funded HealthEConnect project and contributes to the new Health Innovation Specialization within the Master’s in Impact Entrepreneurship and Innovation at NOVA SBE. The program is a collaboration between NMS, NOVA SBE, the BioInnovation Institute, Copenhagen Business School, and Startup Europe.
Congratulations to the 20 students who completed this dynamic and demanding course!
