NOVA Medical School strengthens international cooperation with the visit of Professor Lucinda Cash-Gibson

On October 23, NOVA Medical School welcomed Professor Lucinda Cash-Gibson, Senior Lecturer at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra – Barcelona School of Management (UPF-BSM), to strengthen scientific collaborations within the EUTOPIA alliance and to explore new partnership opportunities in strategic areas, with a special focus on health inequalities.

Professor Cash-Gibson is part of the Johns Hopkins University – Universitat Pompeu Fabra Public Policy Center and the Innovation and Sustainability Data Lab (ISDaLab), where she develops research within the Good Health and Wellbeing line.

The visit took place as part of a joint initiative between NOVA Medical School and the Comprehensive Health Research Centre (CHRC), through the EpiDoC Unit, led by Professor Ana Rodrigues.

Professor Cash-Gibson’s research combines public health, sociology, and environmental sustainability, contributing to the development of inclusive policies and integrated solutions that address contemporary health challenges.

This initiative is part of NOVA Medical School’s strategy to strengthen international partnerships within the EUTOPIA alliance, which aims to promote academic and scientific cooperation among European and global institutions.
