The session was aimed for NMS researchers to receive suggestions from the EIT Health team, in order to boost applications for international funding.
The innovation advisory session took place on the 14th of July in the NOVA Medical School Council Room and was preceded by other meetings outside the faculty, with the presence of the new director of EITH Health Innostars, Francesca Avolio, Vice-Dean from Universidade NOVA, Isabel Rocha and Deputy Director for NMS Research, Patrícia Calado.
The session at the NMS was opened by Helena Canhão, Dean of NOVA Medical School, followed by six pitches by NMS researchers: Cláudia Santos, Duarte Barral, Sandra Tenreiro, Sílvia Conde, Catarina Madeira and Ana Rita Londral. The purpose of the session was to provide researchers with advice for current and future international health research funding related to innovation, as is the case of the competition now opened by EIT Health on 30 June.
