As part of the participation of NOVA Medical School in the Junta de Freguesia de Arroios Health Fair, we opened the door to the neighboring community.
On 28th of March, NMS received the visit of a group from the community to the Noble Spaces of the building and to the Exhibition of the Ancient Book which is open to the public in the NMS Library.
Visitors had the opportunity to take a guided tour of the Sala dos Atos, Sala dos Passos Perdidos and other noble spaces of the NOVA Medical School Building, guided by the NMS Alumni, Dr. Manuel Costa. Additionally, the Biblioteca team, led by Dr. Teresa Costa, accompanied visitors to the exhibition on the Ancient Book. Here, everyone had the opportunity to see some of the 352 works in the Old Book collection of our Library, including the oldest book from the 17th century (1690). This exhibition can still be visited until the 31st of March.
