Medical degree from the Faculty of Medicine of Lisbon. PhD in Pharmacology from the Autonomous University of Barcelona in 2006. Academic degree from the University of Algarve in 2023.
In 2023, she founded a new consulting firm, WGSC, dedicated to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in companies and organizations, which aims to increase the level of information and knowledge of organizations about inclusion and diversity, increasing the commitment of people and organizations to increased efficiency and well-being.
Author of the books, ‘How New Medicines Are Born’, ‘Statistics Needed’. ‘Health is Priceless but has Costs’, and ‘Gender Identity and Sexual Orientation in Clinical Practice’.
