Bruno Miguel Costa Heleno. MD (2005, Universidade Nova de Lisboa) and PhD in Public Health and Epidemiology (2015, University of Copenhagen).

He is an Assistant Professor at NOVA Medical School, where he teaches general practice, evidence-based practice and clinical research methods. He is a co-coordinator for the PhD in Medicine program and several evidence-based practice courses.

He is also a GP-consultant in ULS Santa Maria, and a researcher at the Comprehensive Health Research Centre. He published 70 articles in peer-reviewed journals, 3 sections of books.
