Researchers from the Molecular Nutrition and Health group presented several of their works at the Food Bioactives & Health Conference (FBHC).

The FBHC 2022 congress took place in Parma, Italy, between June 21 and 24, 2022 and had the strong participation of NMS Research with the Molecular Nutrition and Health group, led by researcher Cláudia Nunes dos Santos.
"Our lab members presented 2 oral communications, 1 flash presentation, and 3 posters, which resulted in loads of fruitful discussion about the mechanism of action and health benefits of the physiological circulating metabolites derived from the diet", says Cláudia Nunes dos Santos .
Researcher Inês Figueira won the Best Poster Award in the “(Poly)phenols” category, with a work that reveals the neuroprotective potential of (poly)phenol metabolites in a 3D model of Parkinson's Disease.
