The results of the Fundação para a Ciência e Tecnologia (FCT) R&D call for 2022, to finance scientific research projects at national level, have already been published.
NMS Research had thirteen proposals accepted for funding from 47 applicant applications, which equates to a 27,7% success rate. Of the funded projects, four are Scientific Research and Technological Development and nine are Exploratory Projects. The overall success rate of the call for all institutions was 15.4%, according to FCT.
Comparing with the results of the 2020 and 2021 calls, the success rate was higher this year: in 2020 NMS had two projects accepted for funding out of 53 (success rate of 3,8%) and in 2021 eleven were accepted in 57 applications (19,3% success rate).
