We welcome students to join the 'Metabolic Reprogramming in Hereditary Diseases' laboratory, for applications to PhD and postdoctoral fellowships from the FCT.
Work with us to address the mechanisms of disease in inborn errors of metabolism (IEM), with a main focus in mitochondrial diseases that cause neurological pathologies and hereditary tumors.
The students will develop a new multidisciplinary approach to explore the multilayered nature of metabolic (dys)regulation in IEM, where they will chart the uncharted world of RNA networks in mitochondrial diseases.
